Hush privacy policy

Hush is built to work locally and privately. The app plays sounds that are bundled inside the app, stores your settings on your device, and does not require an account.
What Hush collects
Hush does not collect personal data.
The app does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party login. It does not send your saved mixes, timer choices, favorites, playback activity, device identifiers, location, contacts, photos, microphone audio, or any other personal information to us.
What stays on your device
Hush stores the following data locally on your device:
- your current mix and sound volumes
- saved mixes and mix names
- favorite sounds and favorite mixes
- sleep timer fade-out setting
- snooze duration setting
- whether you have completed onboarding
- a small local widget/watch snapshot, such as the current mix name and play/pause state
This data is used only to make the app work. It is not uploaded to a server.
Network access
Hush does not need the internet to play sounds. All sounds are bundled with the app. The app is designed to work in Airplane Mode.
Apple Watch and widgets
The iPhone app may share a small playback snapshot with the Hush widget and Apple Watch companion app through Apple's local App Group and WatchConnectivity systems. This is local device-to-device/app-extension communication. We do not receive it.
Crash reports and diagnostics
Hush does not include third-party crash reporting in this version. If you contact support, you may choose what information to include in your message.
Children
Hush does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted with a new date.
